The Library Board is made up of five residents of the City of Petoskey appointed by the Mayor. The Board is responsible to hire the Director, create policies and oversee the budget. Members serve without compensation.

Library Board Meetings

Meetings are monthly on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5 p.m. except for the November meeting which will be held on Tuesday, November 19. Meetings are held in the lower level classroom in the Main Library at 500 E. Mitchell St. (unless noted below). There is generally not a December meeting. Click on month to view agenda.
2019 meeting dates are: January 24, February 28, March 28 (canceled), April 25, May 23, June 27,  July 25, August 22 rescheduled for September 5, September 26, October 26, November 19 (Tuesday)
