The Library Board is made up of five residents of the City of Petoskey appointed by the Mayor. The Board is responsible to hire the Director, create policies and oversee the budget. Members serve without compensation.

Library Board Meetings

Meetings are monthly on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5 p.m. except for the November meeting which will be held on Tuesday, November 25.  Meetings are held either in the Library meeting room in the lower level or at the Carnegie Building (451 E. Mitchell).  There is generally not a December meeting.
2015 meeting dates are: January 22, February 26, March 26, April 23, May 28, June 25, July 23, August 27, September 24, October 22, November 24 (Tuesday).
