The Library Board is made up of five residents of the City of Petoskey appointed by the Mayor. The Board is responsible to hire the Director, create policies and oversee the budget. Members serve without compensation.

Library Board Meetings

Meetings are monthly on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5 p.m. except for the November meeting which will be held on Tuesday, November 25.  Meetings are held either in the Library meeting room in the lower level or at the Carnegie Building (451 E. Mitchell).  There is generally not a December meeting. 2014 meeting dates are:

January 23, February 27, March 27, April 24, May 22, June 26, July 24, August 28, September 25, October 23, November 25 (Tuesday)
