Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

1345656321Internalxdiscx-xImgLib2cThe Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides a free, hard-cover, age- appropriate book per month to children from birth to age 5. The program is free to all kids birth – age 5 who live in Charlevoix or Emmet Counties or who participate in a pre-school program but live in an adjacent county. The books are mailed each month directly to the child at his or her home. There is no income eligibility. The program is free to all children regardless of ability to pay.

Launch Week for the program is August 19-25.  Readings of “the Little Engine That Could” will be read at various locations.  On Thursday, August 23, at 10:30 am, Mr. Ron will offer one of these readings in the Children’s Program Room.
