Learn about the art of Zentangle this September at the Petoskey District Library. Interfaith minister, life coach and avid crafter, Deb Hansen, became interested in calligraphy and lettering several years ago. This past winter Deb took a short Zentangle class in Florida, where she resides for the winter, and has been practicing ever since. Join her as she shares it with the public as part of Hobbies in the Lobby at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, at the Petoskey District Library.
Zentangle is an art form based on creating images using repetitive patterns. In addition to being a fun way to create unique art, Zentangle can be used to quiet the mind, relieve stress and increase focus and creativity. You cannot fail to create this form of art! There is no right or wrong way to zendoodle! So, bring your imagination to this fun event- the Library and Deb will supply the rest! Hobbies in the Lobby is a free event and is open to the public. Space is limited. Call 231-758-3111 to reserve a seat. Visit www.petoskeylibrary.org for more information.
