Business Resource Center
The Northern Lakes Economic Alliance, Michigan Small Business Technology and Development Center (MI-sbTdc), Petoskey Rotary-Sunrise and Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce have joined with the Petoskey District Library to open the newest of six area Business Resource Centers. Located on the second floor of the library, the BRC is "the entrepreneur's one stop location for starting a small business." The BRC offers a wide variety of print and electronic guides and reference materials covering many relevant business topics, as well as suggested federal, state and local websites to assist with business information and business planning. Also available is free and confidential business counseling by Tip of the Mitt SCORE counselors (click here to apply) and a certified MI-sbTdc counselor (click here to apply).Additional resources include access to valuable online market research and database tools for counseling clients and workshops/classes ranging from "How to Start a New Business" to specific business topics.
