Home Schoolers and Day Care Providers

VISITS

Library visits are available, free of charge, to any Home School or Day Care group in the library's service area. Programs vary in terms of time and objectives, depending upon the ages of the children and your goals for the visit: music (5 string banjo, ukulele, washboard and harmonica) and storytelling with children or adults. Please call to make arrangements at least three weeks ahead of time.

Groups visiting us for research purposes only, who do not need continuous attention from library staff, and who will be arriving and leaving during regular library hours, need only call or email 2 days in advance of the visit/s.

BINS OF BOOKS

The Bins program provides a number of excellent resources for home schoolers and day care facilities. The bins have classroom oriented materials on subjects from dinosaurs to sports to cooking. Learn more about it by clicking Bins of Books
