Web Guide (Web sites recommended by our reference staff.)
Welcome to Reference Services at the Petoskey District Library. The library's reference collection includes standard tools such as encyclopedias, manuals and handbooks, almanacs and directories, as well as a variety of specialized reference books. Reference staff is available to assist patrons during library hours. Patrons may ask a reference question in person at the library, by telephone at 231-758-3114, by fax at 231-758-3117 or online by clicking the Ask-A-Librarian button above. Online requests will be responded to promptly, usually within 2 business days. Our Web Guide offers links to a comprehensive list of internet sites used by the staff. An Assignment Alert form allows teachers from local schools to inform the staff of upcoming topics of study and research assignments.
For birth, marriage, obituary and vertical file (newspaper) indexes, go to the Microfilm listing.
