The current season of Saturday’s Child Story Time, for children ages 3-7, will run on Saturdays from 3:00-4:00 p.m. (times may vary), beginning September 21 through December 21 in the Children’s Program Room. These programs are offered by Youth Services Staff and the exact elements of each program will vary depending upon the strengths of each presenter. Generally, several stories will be featured along with music, movement, art activities, finger plays, puppets and more. The emphasis will be on fun. Parental participation is a must and the activity is free. Siblings are welcome if parents have no other options. Currently, no registration is required. The first session of Saturday’s Child will feature the current Michigan Reads! book: Woolbur, by Leslie Helakowski.
