Following the latest MIOSHA guidelines, the Petoskey District Library will no longer require fully vaccinated patrons or library staff and workers to wear masks or socially distance while at the library. Patrons who are not fully vaccinated should wear masks and continue to socially distance. All groups gathering in our meeting rooms must adhere to social distancing and mask requirements. We will continue to offer services for those who might want to limit their time at the library, including: access to digital services, curbside service; virtual library card registration; questions answered by phone, email, or online chat; book bundles for any age group; and 24/7 pick up of library materials from our on-site lockers. Safety protocols will continue to be followed, including multiple surfaces cleanings throughout the day, hand sanitizer will continue to be available; and a limited supply of masks will be available to the public.
Following the latest Michigan Health and Human Services Department order, the Petoskey District Library’s meeting room guidelines have been updated to accommodate larger numbers. For more information about reserving meeting room space, please visit here or call 231.758.3100
