Friends @ the Carnegie

All Friends @ the Carnegie programs are held at the Carnegie Building at 451 E. Mitchell Street, unless otherwise noted. The programs are offered at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of every month, except May (third Monday) and December (no program). All Friends @ the Carnegie programs are open to the public at no charge.

Candy Cane Village

This year, the annual Friends of the Petoskey Library’s Candy Cane Village will take place in the library’s lobby. Infants through high school students are invited to come get a candy cane and choose a new book to own.

Friends of the Library Support Digitization Project

Friends of the Petoskey Library President Gayle Mroczkowski presents Valerie Meyerson, Petoskey District Library Director, with a check for $22,000 to support a newspaper digitization project. After completion of the project (August 2018) the public will be able to search the text and photos of Petoskey newspapers dating back to 1875 via the Greenwood Cemetery website.
