Test kits are available on a first come, first serve basis. You can obtain a test kit during business hours at the Library’s main desk, or you can park in front of the building, call 231.758.3100 and press 1 for curbside assistance. We can offer one box per person, up to five per household. The kit includes simple instructions to self-administer the test, at home.
The Petoskey District Library (PDL) has partnered with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) on a pilot project with libraries across the state to offer free, at-home COVID-19 testing kits for Michiganders. PDL received 450 COVID-19 at-home test kits that each include one test. Additional kits will be shipped to participating libraries as needed and more libraries will be added to the distribution in the coming weeks. Information will be posted at Michigan.gov/coronavirus.
