Delivery and Outreach Services

BiblioBag is a library delivery service for residents of the Petoskey District Library service area who are either temporarily or permanently homebound. Get most library items mailed to your home at no cost. For more information call Jodi at 231.758.3121, or read this page of instructions.

Book Buddies
Every Wednesday, we deliver dozens of requested books, DVDs, audiobooks, and more, to residents of American House, Crestview Apartments, Independence Village, Riverview Terrace, and Villa by the Bay. To signup, please call Mary Hohlbein at 231.758.3130

Books Broaden the View
Through a new book delivery program in partnership with the Emmet County Correctional Facility, inmates at the Emmet County jail can request, by mailed letter, delivery of two paperback books a month. The books, donated by the Friends of the Petoskey Public Library, are hand-selected by a librarian based on the inmates’ preferences.

24/7 Pick-Up Lockers
Can’t pick up your library items during regular library hours? Choose to pick up your library items from our 24/7 entry lockers. Lockers are located in the indoor entryway found at our east entrance off of Mitchell Street. The purchase of the 24/7 lockers was made possible by a grant from the Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation. If you’d like to request a locker, call us at 231.758.3100 (press 2), or learn how to request your items for pick up in the 24/7 lockers here.

Curbside Service
Curbside service is available during regular Library hours. Park in front of the main door at 500 E Mitchell Street and call us at 231.758.3100 and choose the menu option for curbside.
