PDL Welcomes back Wildlife Photographer Dr. Carl Palazzolo September 19
Petoskey District Library will welcome back Dr. Carl Palazzolo, a wildlife veterinarian with more than 47 years of experience, for a special presentation on his book, The Comeback of Our National Symbol in Michigan, on Saturday, September 19 at 2 p.m. at the Carnegie Building.
The 200-page hardcover coffee-table book features 174 photographs and represents ten years of work documenting bald eagles in Michigan. Attendees will enjoy beautiful photography while learning about bald eagle biology, as well as the medical and surgical care provided to injured eagles.
Proceeds from book sales benefit wildlife rehabilitators and others who work behind the scenes to care for injured wildlife.
