The Library Board is made up of five residents of the City of Petoskey appointed by the Mayor. The Board is responsible to hire the Director, create policies and oversee the budget. Members serve without compensation.

Library Board Meetings

Meetings are monthly on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5 p.m. except for the June meeting which will be held on the third Thursday and the November meeting which will be held on Tuesday, November 20. Meetings are held in the lower level classroom in the Main Library at 500 E. Mitchell St. (unless noted below). There is generally not a December meeting. Click on month to view agenda.
2018 meeting dates are: January 25, February 22, March 23 (third Thursday), April 26, May 24, June 28, July 26, August 23, September 27, October 25, November 20 (Tuesday).
