Facility Manager (Part-Time, Year-Round)

The Petoskey District Library is seeking a proactive and reliable Facility Manager to join our team. This year-round, part-time position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who enjoys a mix of hands-on problem-solving and organized administrative oversight.

The Role: In this role, you will ensure our library remains a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained space for the community. The ideal candidate is a "fixer" at heart—someone who can troubleshoot minor issues while keeping a keen eye on the details of our facility’s operations, with organizational skills to schedule and manage contractors. 

What You’ll Bring:

• Hands-on Experience: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor facility issues and repairs.

• Tech Savvy: A working knowledge of MS Excel for tracking maintenance and schedules.

• Self-Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively without constant supervision.

• Flexibility: While the schedule is generally flexible, the role may require occasional evening or weekend hours to address specific needs.
