Welcome to the Teen Room

Welcome Teens!

The Petoskey District Library (PDL) Teen Room is a place to nurture knowledge, drive discovery, and connect community. The PDL Teen Room is committed to making our space welcoming and respectful.

The PDL Teen Room is designated for teens in grades 7-12.

Please take the time to check out our resources and our events calendar.

Teen Think Tank (T3)

PDL Teen Services offers our teen and tween patrons (in grades 7-12) the opportunity to bring their energy and ideas to library programs and services. The Teen Think Tank (T3) meets quarterly to discuss teen books and video games, brainstorm program ideas, and decide on a community service project. If you are interested in participating, please contact the Teen Services desk at 231-758-3113.

Teen Library of Things

Petoskey District Library Teen Services now offers a Library of Things for teens ages 13-19. To check out these items, the teen will need to go to the teen desk to sign the Teen Library of Things agreement.

Some of the items in the Teen Library of Things:

  • graphing calculator
  • telescope
  • knitting loom kit
  • Dungeons and Dragons campaign cases
  • Arduino Starter Kit
  • Sphero Bolt robot
