The Library is pleased to announce its upcoming millage renewal vote for Little Traverse Township and Springvale Township residents on the August 6 ballot. Big changes are coming to one of Petoskey District Library’s (PDL) digital services. Since 2017, library patrons have explored a world of cinema using Kanopy, a video streaming service for quality, thoughtful entertainment. With a valid PDL card, patrons could access a diverse collection of over 30,000 films and use play credits to stream anytime and anywhere from desktop to smart TV, to mobile or tablet, up to 8 films per month. Petoskey Fall Chess Classic Set for October 21
Following the success of its Open Chess Classic in June, the Petoskey District Library (PDL) will host its second U.S. Chess Federation (USCF) rated tournament, the Petoskey Fall Chess Classic on Saturday, October 21, at the Carnegie Building in downtown Petoskey.
