For years the Petoskey District Library (PDL) carried on a tradition of collecting canned goods and paper products from patrons who wished to waive their overdue library fines. The program was always so popular that patrons still ask about it.

As of December 11, 2024, PDL is again offering free COVID test kits to the public. We can provide one test per person in a household daily, up to 5 people. Documented instructions on when to use the test, how to use the test, and what to do with positive and negative test results are available.
